Mads Joakim Rimer Rasmussenis a visual storyteller who works on long-term projects and commissioned assignments. His projects often explore personal narratives, focusing on youth and identity across cultural divides. He holds a degree in photojournalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism and has studied Multimedia Journalism at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon. He has received various awards and recognition both in Denmark and internationally—most recently in the ‘Reportage of the Year’ category at the Danish Press Photo of the Year awards, as well as in the international ‘College Photographer of the Year’ competition.
