CamillaCollage

Camilla Hundahl is the woman behind Camilla Collage—a self-taught collage artist based in Copenhagen, with a home studio in Nørrebro. Her collages emerged during a serious and debilitating illness. Immersing herself in the process of cutting and crafting a visual expression of the difficult state brought on by her illness became a creative, therapeutic outlet—a respite from despair, desperation, and the fear of death. The themes in Camilla Collage’s works always stem from the same source: the emotions and physical sensations associated with being a human being in a state of imbalance—of being “beside oneself,” or “outside one’s own body.” Yet, the collages also hold narratives of fleeting hope, moments of profound inner peace, and dreams of finding a way back to life—all translated into a visual language through magical, dreamlike compositions of layered imagery. Camilla Collage’s works are hand-cut and constructed from a variety of materials. Camilla incorporates photographic elements—captured in Copenhagen’s streets, parks, and among its statues, towers, and fountains—combined with expansive horizons and clippings from vintage books. She adds delicate, hand-drawn details using pencil, ink, and oil pastels. Her works are available as fine art prints in various sizes, produced on high-quality Hahnemühle paper. Standard prints are available on *Studio Enhanced* (210 gsm) and *MediaJET PhotoArt White Baryta* (310 gsm) paper. You can order and purchase works via the Camilla Collage Instagram account (@camilla.collage) or by emailing camillacollage@gmail.com.
