Throughout my life, nature has been of paramount importance to my artistic practice. Alongside my painting, my photography has focused on the spaces of nature—the sense of proximity, the scents, and the light. From 1967 onwards, I was particularly struck by the pollarded trees in Søndermarken, with their richly textured bark. This evolved into new discoveries, and between 1975 and 1977, my work was featured in every juried exhibition. A travel grant from the Danish Arts Foundation enabled a stay in Madrid, where I worked with copperplate engraving. Subsequently, I undertook the decoration and color design of 11 Romanesque churches. Throughout my life, it has been the nature close at hand that has inspired me. Now, for the first time, I am exhibiting nature photographs that have been processed by the professionals at "Baggårdsprints." They have been very well received at the exhibition currently held at Arte Museum & Gallery in Lildstrand, Jutland. My studio is located at Attemosevej 93 in Søllerød, 2840 Holte. Tel: 41403894. Further information can be found in *Kraks Blå Bog* (the Danish *Who’s Who*).
